In summer 2023, Maretarium is open every day from 10 am to 7 pm. The only exception is Midsummer Eve (23.6.), when Maretarium is open from 10 am to 2 pm.
The daily programme includes nature film screenings related to the nature of the Eastern Gulf of Finland: at 11 a.m. the nature film Eastern Gulf of Finland National Park and at 4 p.m. the nature film The Rower of the Islands. The duration of nature films is approximately 15 minutes. Nature films are screened at the Sea Theatre.
At 1 pm the waterfall is buzzing in the lobby and you can watch the fish being fed daily at 3 pm. Sometimes, and in the summer season much more often than during cold water in winter, the diver is there to feed the fish in the Baltic Sea tank. In addition to feeding the fish, the diver can be seen in the Baltic Sea tank brushing the windows clean of algae or vacuuming the loose algae that has accumulated at the bottom of the tank.
The theme for 2023 at Maretarium is aquatic biodiversity. How do you take care of the diversity of our aquatic environment? Make your own commitment to aquatic nature at the exhibition.
Welcome the whole family to learn and have fun!
