Fish Market 18.-19.10.2025

The traditional Kotka Fish Market will be held in front of Maretarium on 18.-19.10.2025 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The theme fish is sprat, and sprat handling demonstrations will be held at the tent of the Southeast Finland Fisheries Centre on both market days at 11 a.m., 12.30 p.m. and 2 p.m. Take part in the sprat quiz at the Maretarium. Fish-themed product prizes will be drawn among those who answer correctly.

The market sells fish and fish products fresh, processed, cold and warm, as well as many other nice things. Music will be played at the market by Jan-Erik Malms. Come and enjoy the autumn market atmosphere in Sapokka in Kotka and on the same trip to Maretarium! Maretarium is open Sat and Sun 10-17.
